Loving Nutrition was sparked by the desire to provide allergy free foods for children with special needs and their families that taste good and are fun to eat. Suraya and Joseph started Loving Nutrition with the desire to help people have access to great tasting food.

Suraya's husband is a Social Skills Specialist for children with special needs. Together they wanted to help families be able to get good food that they could actually eat. Many children that are on the Gluten Free and/or Vegan diet have not had the opportunity to have birthday cakes that are designed with their favorite characters because specialty cakes are not readily available. We want these children to be able to have the same treats as their peers.

Suraya has always had a passion for baking and has baked non professional for many years. Suraya went to Peru with her husband and her two children to help familes in need through her and her husband's charity and lived there for almost one year. While in Peru, she decided to take professional cake decorating courses and that began her journey to what is now Loving Nutrition.
